An Xbox Digital Broadcast has been declared for the Tokyo Game Show.

Xbox announced that a digital broadcast will air at the Tokyo Game Show in this month. The presentation will take place on 21 September at 2 a.m. ET.

According to Xbox Wire the event will include “progress updates by Xbox and Bethesda Softworks, and a creatively varied collection of games created by creators primarily located in Japan and throughout Asia.” It will also unveil new titles for Xbox Game Pass.

Final Fantasy XIV is the most likely to be re-released. It is coming to Xbox in spring and will have its Dawntrail extension. like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth could also make a return. It was last seen at the Xbox Games Showcase this summer. There are many big Japan-developed titles that will be released in the near future. It’s also interesting to see which Asian companies and titles they court each year.

Tokyo Game Show is from September 21-24. Publishers such as Capcom, Atlus Sega, Koei Tecmo, and Square Enix will broadcast live streams during the entire event.

How does Xbox Digital work?

  1. Physical (disc-based). You must install and play the game from the hard disk. To play the game, you must keep the disc in your disc drive.
  2. Digital. The game must be installed on the hard drive and played. You can switch games easily since there’s no disc.
